Melinda Wilde demonstrated her wet on dry watercolour technique in creating a forest scene, backlit with that lovely electric moss one sees in the spring.
The Spring Challenge required us to use our imagination and be inspired by a piece of childhood poetry.

Rich Williams on Composition Rules

He gave us a thorough presentation of Edgar Payne’s many Rules of Composition by discussing a variety of paintings, including some of the Masters, as well as his own. Christmas Party 2023

We had a good turnout to meet, chat, eat amd have fun with a few games run by Liz. We exchanged handmade Christmas cards and took part in a joint acrylic painting organized by Laurie. And, keeping with the real Christmas Spirit, Marilyn arranged to have us donate a number of gifts for Haven House.
