Our summer sketchbook challenge was to:

Include at least one animal portrait encountered during the summer. It could be a wild or farm animal or a domestic pet.

Include at least one detailed botanical drawing of a favourite flower or plant.

Include one sketch of found beach objects, e.g. shells, driftwood, unusual pebbles, flotsam and Jetsam etc.

It was decided that the prize would be a draw instead of a competition for first place and Mary-Jo was the winner. There were only three contestants, however.
